Free game tasks you with helping Leonardo DiCaprio catch an Oscar

If you're looking for some lighthearted fun this afternoon and don't mind mashing buttons on your keyboard (which may or may not drive your office neighbors crazy), you could do worse than Leo's Red Carpet Rampage, a free browser game that puts you in the shoes of actor Leonardo DiCaprio as he races to earn his first Academy Award.

As DiCaprio you will race down the red carpet collecting awards (like Golden Globes) and jumping over obstacles (like paparazzi) in an attempt to beat fellow actors to the floating Oscar on the right side of the screen. These races are separated by mini-games that poke fun at Academy Award culture, such as "Write an Acceptance Speech" and "Find the Black Nominee." You also have to dodge the occasional iceberg because, y'know ... Titanic.

The arcade-style game was created in the HTML5 game creator Construct 2 by The Line Animation, with game design by Max Van Der Merwe and design and art by Bjorn-Erik Aschim and Sam Taylor.
