Screen scene: Library series to screen home-grown 'Adventures of Bailey' on Tuesday

The Allen Public Library continues its "Heroes in the Movies" family film series with a free screening of Adventures of Bailey: A Night in Cowtown (2013, 85 mins.) on Aug. 4 at 7 p.m. 

The Bakers move into a new home, and their dog, Bailey, quickly finds a love interest. But that takes a back seat when Bailey and the Baker children find themselves on the trail of a dog-napper.

Director Steve Franke, producer Liz Franke and actor Mark Hanson will introduce the movie. The Frankes, a married couple, produce films through their own Hungry Bear Productions. The trio will also answer questions.

DOCTOR WHO Tickets go on sale July 31 for Doctor Who: Dark Water/Death in Heaven (130 mins.) in 3-D.
