This week on The Big Screen, we wanted to talk to someone about the psychology of the terrific new Pixar movie Inside Out. We found the perfect guy: Scott Churchill, a movie critic who also happens to be a psychology professor at the University of Dallas. In the movie each emotion of an 11-year-old girl is a character, including Joy, pictured above. Churchill loved the movie as much as we did, and he focused in one of its most compelling elements: The inextricable link between joy and sadness. You can listen to our conversation here. And make sure to read Nancy Churnin's Dallas Morning News review here.
