Penn & Teller, Lou Ferrigno, Jackie Collins among those with cameos in 'Sharknado 3'

Like sharks falling from the sky, the list of actors wanting to be chomped up in the upcoming Sharknado sequel is growing.

Penn & Teller, Frankie Muniz, multi-Grammy winner Ne-Yo, NASCAR drivers Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano, author Jackie Collins, actor Lou Ferrigno and former MythBusters host Grant Imahara will join the cast for Syfy's Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! when it premieres at 8 p.m. July 22.

Penn Jillette and Teller will play retired NASA officers. Jillette is Lt. Col. Stylo and Teller is Major Caissier. Muniz, who was Malcolm in the sitcom Malcolm in the Middle, will play the friend of Cassie Scerbo (Nova). Ne-Yo, Ferrigno and Imahara play Secret Service agents. If the third Sharknado is anything like the second one - and we suspect the template hasn't changed - cameos are nothing more than shark food. They show up, yell and get theirs. As Ian Zierring told CNN, "It seems like it's a badge of honor to have that on your IMDb account when it says "Man #2 eaten in 'Sharknado.' "

In the first sequel, Jared "The Subway Guy" Fogle, Perez Hilton, Kelly Osbourne, Judd Hirsch, Keppy Ripa, Billy Ray Cyrus, Downtown Julie Brown, Matt Lauer and Al Roker were in the cameo pool.
