Your time and money are valuable, so you should invest them in good movies. Here are some films in theaters this week that have been approved by our in-house critics and/or reviewers from elsewhere on the internet.

The Associated Press says, "It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years, from composer Terence Blanchard... It's a Spike Lee joint that is not to be missed."

Christopher Robin

Eighth Grade

Chris Vognar called this debut movie from director/comedian Bo Burnham "a small, shining jewel of a film," and he's far from the only critic giving it high praise.

Mission: Impossible -- Fallout

The Washington Post says, "Even its most irritating parts don't fatally damage a whole that works amazingly well, despite its own excesses."

Teen Titans Go! To the Movies

Hollywood Reporter says, "It's no small compliment to say that the feature film derived from Teen Titans Go!, a popular children's animated series, often proves far more enjoyable than the grown-up superhero blockbusters it spoofs."
