Yes, of course there will be a 'Frozen 2'

I don't know if you noticed, but Disney's animated musical Frozen was kind of a big deal. It made a ton of money in theaters (it's the number one animated film of all time, according to box office numbers), sold tons of merchandise and wormed its way into your head over and over and over again with "Let It Go" -- even if you haven't seen the movie.

Disney has already been capitalizing on its success quite a bit, with a Frozen storyline in the ABC show Once Upon a Time and an upcoming animated short that will debut before Cinderella in theaters. And now, officially, there will be a sequel.

"After months of speculation, Bob Iger, John Lasseter and actor Josh Gad (voice of Olaf) announced from the stage that Frozen 2 is officially in development at Walt Disney Animation Studios," reads a recap of Disney's annual shareholders meeting in San Fransisco. " The film will reunite the Oscar-winning filmmaking team behind Frozen, including director Chris Buck, director/writer Jennifer Lee and producer Peter Del Vecho. A release date and production details are yet to be announced."
