You know you've made it when an ice cream is named after you. Well, Bernie Sanders seems to have made it in Ben Cohen of Ben and Jerry's book.
The Vermont ice cream company co-founder announced on Facebook that the flavor that many had pined for is finally a reality. He wrote:
Nothing is so unstoppable as a flavor whose time has finally come #FeelTheBern #BerniesYearning
Cohen wrote on his website that he has been a Sanders constituent for 30 years. After many people asking him he made 40 pints of the special flavor. It is not officially affiliated with Ben and Jerry's nor the Sanders campaign, however he donated 25 pints to the campaign.
For members of the public who are feeling the Bern, Cohen has a contest for individuals to win one of the remaining 15 pints.
