The Granville Arts Center complex includes two magnificent proscenium Theatres, the award-winning Atrium banquet facility and the exquisite art deco Plaza Theatre. Since the 1940’s the Plaza Theatre has been a landmark for Downtown Garland. In 2001, the Plaza Theatre was refurbished in the art deco style to reflect that bygone era. The spectacular domed lobby features a majestic chandelier and the 350 seat theatre is a superb setting for concerts, receptions, business meetings, fundraisers and stage productions.
The luxurious Theatres at the Granville Arts Center provide an impressive setting for stage productions, concerts, symphonies, fundraisers and seminars. The Brownlee Auditorium has first class seating for 720 and the smaller theatre features seating for 200. Both theatres have state of the art sound and lighting equipment. The spacious lobby is also available for galas and private receptions.
The Atrium is an elegant banquet venue for weddings, receptions, birthdays and anniversaries with a magnificent wall of windows, twinkling lights in the outdoor courtyard and cascading walls of state-of-the-art lighting.
