There's no better time to be a teenager.

For the first time ever, the Kraddick Foundation -- a nonprofit organization founded by the late 106.1 KISS FM radio personality Kidd Kraddick -- will expand its Kidd's Kids program to include a once-in-a-lifetime trip for teens.

Since its founding in 1991, Kidd's Kids has sent more than 1,000 children between the ages of 5 and 12 on big vacations, including weeklong trips to Walt Disney World. Starting this year, the Kraddick Foundation will make a difference in the lives of big kids, too.

Teens with life-changing conditions will have the opportunity to make memories with their families on the first annual Kidd's Kids Teen Trip -- an all-expenses-paid getaway to Give Kids The World Village in Orlando.

Teens between the ages of 13 and 18 will spend June 3-9 on a vacation that includes a three-day stay at Walt Disney World, two days at Universal Orlando and a day at Sea World Orlando. The kids and their families get to explore the "storybook" resort and Kidd's Kids takes care of all the rest, including travel accommodations, gifts and meals for families.

For Caroline Kraddick, Kidd's daughter and CEO of Kidd's Kids, this trip is a long time coming. According to a press release from the organization, Kraddick has "long envisioned hosting a similar trip for teenagers."

"I can't express how excited I am to expand the Kidd's Kids program ... and to bring another life-changing experience to an older group of kids and their families," she said.

Applications for the Kidd's Kids Teen Trip are now available on KiddsKids.com and must be submitted by Friday, March 24.
