Dallas DJ Kidd Kraddick's foundation will now allow teens to go on all-expenses paid trip

Since its founding in 1991, Kidd's Kids has sent more than 1,000 children between the ages of 5 and 12 on big vacations, including weeklong trips to Walt Disney World. Starting this year, the Kraddick Foundation will make a difference in the lives of big kids, too.

There's no better time to be a teenager.

For the first time ever, the Kraddick Foundation -- a nonprofit organization founded by the late 106.1 KISS FM radio personality Kidd Kraddick -- will expand its Kidd's Kids program to include a once-in-a-lifetime trip for teens.

Teens between the ages of 13 and 18 will spend June 3-9 on a vacation that includes a three-day stay at Walt Disney World, two days at Universal Orlando and a day at Sea World Orlando. The kids and their families get to explore the "storybook" resort and Kidd's Kids takes care of all the rest, including travel accommodations, gifts and meals for families.

For Caroline Kraddick, Kidd's daughter and CEO of Kidd's Kids, this trip is a long time coming. According to a press release from the organization, Kraddick has "long envisioned hosting a similar trip for teenagers."
