Leon Bridges will hit 'Saturday Night Live' with Ryan Gosling in December

We barely finished gushing about Leon Bridges' incredible tour closer at Dallas' Majestic Theatre Saturday and we have yet another reason to keep bragging the local soul superstar.

Move over Tonight Show and Late Late Show -- on Dec. 5, the Fort Worth native will hit the Big Apple for a performance on Saturday Night Live. This will be one for the books, especially considering heartthrob and actor Ryan Gosling will be hosting that evening.

On other programs, Bridges has stuck with performing hits from his debut album, Coming Home (including the title track), which knocked the socks of music lovers this summer and hit No. 1 on Billboard's R&B chart. But if his concert over the weekend was any indication, the dude's taking newer tracks for a spin.
