The Red Party is a yearly event hosted by the Dallas Red Foundation, a charity that provides financial support for D-FW organizations serving individuals with HIV/AIDS.
This year's Red Party will feature performances by dance artist Jessica "J" Sutta, live-vocal drag performer Gloria Devine, and the reigning Miss Red, Raquel Blake.
Headliner J Sutta rose to international fame in 2003 as one of the lead vocalists of the Pussycat Dolls.
In 2010, Sutta started her solo career and scored several dance hits with the singles "Show Me," "Lights Out," and "Let It Be Love." Her current single, "Forever," is frequently played in clubs throughout Dallas.
J Sutta also reached the top of the Billboard Hot Dance Charts as the singer of David Aude's single, "Gonna Get You."
J Sutta is expected to perform her singles and some Pussycat Doll songs during the event.
In addition to the live performances, there will also be DJ sets from DJ Pressplay and DJ Joe Vega. Your dance moves will be fueled by complimentary Stoli Cocktails, Redd's Apple Ale, Blue Moon, and Miller Lite.
The 8th Annual Red Party will take place on Friday, Sept. 16 at 8 p.m.
The party is hosted at Sixty Five Hundred, 6500 Cedar Springs, in Dallas. Tickets start at $49 and are available online.
Ticket sales will support Legacy Counseling Center and Founders Cottage, an organization providing affordable mental health care, substance abuse treatment, and special care housing services to people living with HIV/AIDS in D-FW.
