How Dallasites can get a free (and safe) ride on New Year's Eve

If you're planning to go to one of the many New Year's Eve parties happening in North Texas, you'll also want to plan getting a safe ride home. Even better: You can catch a lift for free.

Dallas Area Rapid Transit is partnering with Miller Lite and Andrews Distributing to offer free rides on local buses and trains to revelers on Dec. 31. Beginning at 6 p.m., you can hop on any of the DART lines and the Trinity Railway Express without a ticket.
