This south Indian restaurant in Frisco will be open Christmas Day with an a la carte menu for dinner and a holiday version of its lunch buffet ($17.99 per person, $10.99 for children). Chennai's menu includes biryani (a classic layered rice dish), curries, tandoori and many vegetarian dishes. This new Southern cooking and cocktails spot in downtown Dallas will serve brunch and dinner on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. For brunch, the regular a la carte menu, including chicken-fried quail and waffles and pulled-chicken poutine, will be served. Plus on Christmas Day only, there will be a coffee-sea salt crusted prime rib served with fries and avocado-horseradish crème. It will also be available during dinner both days for a $10 upcharge on the four-course menu. Lark on the Park 

The restaurant across the street from Klyde Warren Park -- and its tall and sparkly Christmas tree -- will offer a three-course fixed-price menu for Christmas Day. Main-course options include grilled duck, Nova Scotian halibut, boeuf bourguignon and pappardelle with chanterelle mushrooms. Dec. 25 with seatings at 5, 6:30 and 8 p.m. $65 per person, plus $30 per person for optional wine pairings. LAW Restaurant

The Four Seasons replaced Cafe on the Green with this Texas-inspired place whose name stands for "Land, Air and Water." On Christmas Eve, there will be a dinner buffet from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. On Christmas Day, there will be breakfast served a la carte from 7 to 8:30 a.m., a buffet brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and a dinner buffet from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Prices vary on the a la carte menu. This West Plano spot will be open Christmas Day serving its regular dinner menu of modern and traditional Cantonese dishes. Restaurant critic Leslie Brenner, who reviewed Mah-Jong in October, says standout dishes include Sichuan-style chicken dumplings, slow-braised pork shank Hong Kong style and sea scallop and shrimp claypot with black bean sauce. The Rustic 

This restaurant, bar and backyard concert venue in Uptown will be open Christmas night for casual dinner and drinks. The limited food menu will include $3 tamales -- brisket and sweet potato picadillo -- served with chile de árbol salsa. And there will be two drink specials: a Rimy Rita made with Dulce Vida Tequila, agave nectar and fresh-squeezed lime juice for $13.95; and $3 bottles of Real Ale Brewing Co.'s Fireman's #4 blonde ale. Those bottles are being used to construct Rustic's beer Christmas tree now, but they'll be for sale on Christmas night. This restaurant at Omni Dallas Hotel will have a Christmas Eve dinner and a Christmas Day brunch buffet. Both will include Southern-style cooking, including roasted meats, soups, salads, sides and dessert. Before or after dining, be sure to get a Christmas selfie outside the Omni. In addition to the original Pegasus, there are 13 giant red ornaments on the lawn, plus a snowman-themed B&G photo opportunity near the Pegasus' base.
