Questionable Gifts: A holiday shopping guide for frienemies, nemeses and slackers

If you're gift-giving this holiday season, chances are very high there's one person -- or several -- who make the task hell. Maybe you drew a grouchy Secret Santa recipient. Perhaps you're still buying for cousin who ratted you out to grandma about the Smirnoff Ice you drank freshman year of high school. Or, let's face it: It's possible you're extremely lazy, and this is all a lot of energy, even for people you like.

These things, whatever they are, if you don't mind also torturing a kid.

FWIW, they are Bunchems -- and putting them in one's hair is apparently irresistible. Removal, parents say, takes hours and often an unwanted pixie haircut. Pro tip: Conditioner does not act as a lubricant in attempted removal; WD-40 is the way to go.
