This lively yet cozy stop in Uptown encourages customers to come in costume for its Halloween celebration, which features food specials from 4 to 11 p.m. and drink specials continuing till 2 a.m. Three specialty cocktails with frightful names are on the menu: the Corpse Maker (rum, cinnamon, Laphroaig Scotch Whisky, Cabernet), Blood in the Water (mezcal, citrus, beet tea reduction) and the Camp Crystal Lake (vodka, blood orange, ginger and citrus). Have a deadly evening of fun at the party at this Las Colinas steakhouse and cigar lounge from 9 p.m. to midnight. Be sure to arrive in your most ghoulish Halloween disguise: a costume contest will be held at the end of the party. The Ghost Scribes -- a collaborative of paranormal-fiction writers based in Dallas -- is hosting a spooky Halloween happy hour from 6 to 9 p.m. The group promises "drinks, small plates of food and lively conversation" but also "murder, the devil and little green fairies." Hopefully that last part will be confined to their writings. As for drink specials, get $2 drafts, $3 wells, $4 calls and $5 house martinis. Celebrate Halloween and Dia de los Muertos at this Mexican chain with six area locations with a special on Blue Moon Pumpkin 'Ritas from Oct. 31 through Nov. 2. The drink, which contains Lunazul Blanco tequila, pumpkin puree, Blue Moon beer and fresh lime juice, will be available for $6, half of its regular price. Come dressed in your flashiest trick-or-treating costume as this golf and entertainment attraction hosts its annual Zombies Ball party on Oct. 30 and 31, with a DJ, costume contest and prizes.
