Major comic book fan conventions tend to have at least one anticipated guest back out at the last minute -- it's an unfortunate reality of trying to balance the schedules of many busy actors and artists at once. For this year's Fan Expo Dallas, the bad news is that Michael J. Fox won't be at the show "due to unforeseen circumstances in his schedule," putting the damper on the Back to the Future cast reunion.
But when Thor closes a door, he opens a window. Fan Expo has announced that Ben Affleck -- Batfleck himself -- will be coming to the show, albeit for Saturday only (April 7). He joins Val Kilmer as another guest in the lineup that has played Batman on the silver screen.
Photo ops with the actor and director went on sale beginning Tuesday at 10 a.m., but you might have to be Bruce Wayne to afford them. Both photo ops and autographs cost a whopping $250 each. If you want a photo op with both Affleck and Aquaman actor Jason Mamoa, that'll run you $350. Even considering that Fan Expo isn't the cheapest comic convention around, that ain't cheap.
Anybody who bought a photo op or autograph opportunity with Fox can check their inbox for instructions on how to exchange those tickets or get a refund.
