LeakyCon hasn't had its D-FW event yet, but it's already been a huge hit with local Harry Potter fans. Dallas tickets for the traveling convention, which was in Dublin, Ireland earlier this year, sold out faster than a Golden Snitch on a Quidditch pitch.

Because the demand has been so high, the event is moving to a larger space. It will now be at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center August 10-12. Previously, it was booked at the Hyatt Regency.

This move allows LeakyCon to get more fans through the doors. Additional tickets will go on sale Dec. 6 at 1 p.m..

Melissa Anelli, CEO of Mischief Management (the company that puts on LeakyCon), said in a press release, "We were blown away by the community's response to LeakyCon and are thrilled that thousands of people are joining us to celebrate their love of Harry Potter. This moves allows even more fans to experience the magic of this community."

Anelli tells us that while no celebrity guests have been announced yet, those deals are in the works. Previous LeakyCon events have featured appearances by stars of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beast movies.

We'll have more info on LeakyCon in the days to come.
