Allons-y! Dallas Fan Days (the slightly-smaller offshoot of Fan Expo Dallas, nee Dallas Comic Con) has announced a pretty huge guest coming to the show: Doctor Who alum David Tennant. Fan Days takes place Oct. 20-22 at the Irving Convention Center.
Along with being a fan favorite Doctor (he was the 10th in a long line of them), he is currently the voice of Scrooge McDuck in Disney's rebooted Duck Tales, is currently filming an adaptation of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's novel Good Omens, starred in Broadchurch, appeared in a Harry Potter movie and has done many other things that make him beloved.
Tennant joins Stranger Things stars Caleb McLaughlin and Gaten Matarazzo, Game of Thrones Hodor -- I mean, star -- Kristian Nairn, Rverdale's Madelaine Petsch and others.
Unfortunately, there is also some bad news for Doctor Who fans in Dallas: Matt Smith (Tennant's successor, the 11th Doctor) has had to rescheduled due to scheduling conflicts -- which, unfortunately, is not the first time he's done so. One day, Matt Smith. One day.
Tickets for Dallas Fan Days are on sale now, ranging from $20-$239 if you really want to go all out with your experience.
