Guide Geek: 'Daredevil' gets Elektra, Han gets a Solo movie

Han's Solo outing

Disney announced that everybody's favorite intergalactic smuggler, Han Solo, will be getting his own movie in 2018. It will be the Star Wars Anthology film that fills the gap between Episodes 8 and 9 of the sci-fi franchise, and it will be directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the dynamic duo behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street.

There were no details about casting or plot specifics, but we do know that it will be something of an origin story that takes place before Han meets Luke and Leia.

We already knew that fan favorite character The Punisher would be showing up in the show, but now we've learned that popular Daredevil love interest Elektra will also make an appearance.

"I'm the Doctor, and I save people."

Lastly, the BBC made us just a little more sad that we don't have a time-traveling TARDIS by releasing the first trailer for the new season of Doctor Who. We'll have to wait until September for new episodes to air, but the brief teaser we've been given promises a lot of action and intrigue, including the mysterious appearance by Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams.
