The Dallas Zoo's new lion is majestic as all get-out

The Dallas Zoo on Thursday officially introduced its newest member: a 10-year-old African lion named Kamau.

Kamau came to the Dallas Zoo in late May from Zoo Atlanta as part of a breeding program. You can see him during the day at the zoo, particularly during the 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. training sessions, says carnivore keeper Sara Squires. Kamau is getting used to his surroundings, and is making himself known. "He's really into roaring," Squires says.

Here he his, in all his glory:

We think he is effortlessly majestic.

Don't you? We loved this photo so much, we couldn't help but put some words with them. Please forgive us, Kamau. We do not mean to offend your majesty.
