Hello Kitty fanatics can buy goodies when 'cafe' rolls into Southlake this weekend

A Hello Kitty food truck is rolling into Southlake Town Square on Saturday, Sept. 15.

It's the sixth time the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck has landed in Dallas-Fort Worth since spring 2016. Expect it to be popular; over the years, some people have waited for as long as three hours for their chance to score some Hello Kitty swag.

This time around, the pink truck will be selling a new plush toy ($25, see it above). It'll also sell new snacks like a giant cookie ($12), a lunch box with popcorn ($20, see it below) and a new box set of petit fours ($15).

Fans of the Sanrio character will also find items available in the past, like keychains ($6.50), macarons ($15), mugs ($14), T-shirts ($27) and more.

If you were to buy every item on the menu, you'd spend $221.50.

In 2016, a GuideLive reader and Hello Kitty fanatic Helen McCourt bought eight items and spent nearly $80. She later said it was "expensive but worth it."
