Upcoming competition Shaken + Stirred will crown the Official Cocktail of Dallas

If you're James Bond, you like cocktails shaken, not stirred. But why settle for one way when you could have both?

Shaken + Stirred is a cocktail sampling event and competition coming to the Statler Hotel in downtown Dallas on Dec. 2. In addition to libations, there will be bites from chefs Graham Dodd and Angela Hernandez, both of whom are leading the culinary charge at new restaurants opening at the Statler. Dodd is chef at Overeasy, a trendy diner, and Scout, a sports bar. Hernandez is chef at Fine China, a Pan-Asian restaurant. Overeasy is currently open; the others are still under construction.

Local musician Hunter Sullivan and Big Time Big Band will perform during the event.
