Update Oct. 11 at 3 p.m.: Oklahoma Suks Beer Yoga with Ricky Williams has been canceled due to a scheduling conflict, according to a note on the venue's website. A spokesman for Independence Brewing Co., which was hosting the event, confirmed the cancellation. The event will no be rescheduled.

Original story:

Dallasites can do yoga in seemingly infinite ways, such as alongside goats, cats and puppies. Now a new event invites local yogis to get their stretch on with a beer in hand.

The Oklahoma Suks Beer Yoga class comes to the Bomb Factory in Dallas on Friday, Oct. 13 -- fittingly, a day before the highly anticipated Red River Showdown football game between rivals the University of Texas and Oklahoma University at the Cotton Bowl. What makes this deal sweeter for Texas fans?

Ricky Williams, a Heisman Trophy winner from UT and former NFL running back, is teaching the class. He's been teaching yoga since at least 2013.

The event is named for Independence Brewing Co.'s fall seasonal, an American amber ale, which was originally inspired by a rival Texas Sux beer brewed in Oklahoma City. Considering the brewery is based in Austin, you guess which team its founders and brewers are rooting for.

Attendees to Oklahoma Suks Beer Yoga will be greeted with complimentary cans of the brew upon arrival to the class, and we're told there will be complimentary refills throughout. Tickets cost $35 and includes the class, beers and a meet-and-greet with Williams afterward. The event runs 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 13.

The Red River Showdown football game kicks off at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Cotton Bowl.
