Six Dallas chefs will unite Saturday to benefit kids -- and your belly

Proceeds from Dallas $10K for Kids' second annual pop-up dinner event will go to Scottish Rite Hospital for Children

There's only one thing that could be better than a pop-up dinner with cocktails, and obviously that is two pop-up dinners with cocktails.

This year's event features not one, but two pop-up dinners. Advance tickets are recommended.

That's what's in store  Saturday, as six local chefs volunteer their services for Dallas $10K for Kids' second annual charity event at Industry Alley Bar. All proceeds will benefit Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.

The first dinner, from 7 to 10 p.m., will feature dishes from chefs Sharon Van Meter of 3015 at Trinity Groves, Nikky Phinyawatana of Asian Mint and Ashley Henderson of Tower Club. The second, from 10 p.m. until it's all gone, will feature the creations of Pioneer's Nick Amoriello and Justin Holt, sous chef at Lucia.

CBD Provisions sous chef Carolanne Treadwell will provide desserts, and barman Charlie Papaceno will offer a selection of Scotch cocktails.

It will be the second appearance for Amoriello, who did last year's event along with chefs John Tesar, Graham Dodds and Daniel Pittman.
