An estimated 300,000 people will visit Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth Nov. 4, 5 and 6 for AAA Texas 500 weekend. But how many dogs will join them?

At 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, the speedway celebrated the grand opening of the Milk-Bone Puppy Pit Stop in the campgrounds near Texas Motor Speedway. Bullseye the Target dog and professional race car driver Kyle Larson hosted a ribbon cutting. (Larson's son Owen was there, too.)

While dogs were allowed in the campgrounds, they never had a place to run around previously. The new Puppy Pit Stop will be open for race weekends only and will give owners a place to let their dogs off leash to romp.
