Dallas big band singer Hunter Sullivan will headline a retro-themed nightclub event in Deep Ellum this weekend.

The Sands: A Retro Nightclub Experience will recreate a 1960s nightclub with a vintage-inspired fashion show, dancing, and an open bar. The event is hosted at the 2616 Commerce Event Center and starts at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5.

Sullivan is a longtime Dallas band leader who is perhaps best known for his regular shows at The Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek. Sullivan performs classic pop and romantic ballads.

The fashion show at The Sands event will be provided by Vintage Martini, a Henderson Avenue consignment store featured on The Real Housewives of Dallas. A personal favorite of LeeAnne Locken, Vintage Martini sells an entire LeeAnne Locken line of clothing.

The Sands event is a fundraiser for AIDS Interfaith Network, a nonprofit dedicated to preventing the spread of HIV and providing services to individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

In addition to its outreach and prevention programs, AIN also offers transportation, direct care and nutrition services to people with HIV/AIDS.
