The streets of the Dallas Arts District will be closed to traffic for the quarterly block party that celebrates art with special attractions including concerts, local brews, dance lessons and cinema. Shakespeare Dallas actors will do street performances and there'll be music from singer-songwriter Tiger Darrow, an acoustic David Bowie tribute by the Thin White Dukes, live jazz with Yells at Eels, and beats and threads from the Durty Laundry DJ truck. Enjoy local craft beers, margaritas and other libations from the Alamo Drafthouse, or grab some grub from one of the 15 gourmet food trucks parked for your dining pleasure.
