Uber delivers ugly Christmas sweaters Thursday in Dallas, Plano, Fort Worth

For a just a few hours on Thursday, Dec. 10, Uber users in North Texas can get ugly Christmas sweaters delivered to their doorstep for $10.

The sweaters come from Tipsy Elves, a California-based company that successfully pitched its business on Shark Tank in 2013. Tipsy Elves sells tacky Christmas tops -- as well as tacky Christmas jammies, jumpsuits and underwear -- online.

Ugly sweaters have become a popular holiday item in the Dallas area, and in fact, two sweater shops have popped up in Dallas this winter.

We've even picked the weirdest ugly Christmas sweaters to give as gifts this year.

The ugly sweater delivery doesn't come as a big surprise from Uber, the on-demand car service that has made a name for itself delivering oddball items. The company has brought Thanksgiving pies, kitties and even flu shots to Dallas-area customers recently.
