The Dallas Arboretum's acclaimed seasonal fest features opportunities to wander among 150,000 blooming fall flowers, sample tea and other goodies at Harvest Tea, and treat children to face painting and petting zoos on select days. You'll find 90,000 pumpkins and gourds, mostly in the Pumpkin Village, where cute photo ops abound.  Through Nov. 23 at the Dallas Arboretum, Dallas. 

'Neath the Wreath

It's already that time of year. Shop for holiday gifts from a variety of merchants at the Junior League of Collin County's 21st annual event to raise funds for the organization's community projects. Tickets can be purchased in advance at local Tom Thumb stores for $10, or they're $13 at the door. Children under age 12 get in free. Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Nov. 11 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Nov. 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Nov. 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Plano Centre, 2000 E. Elite Rodeo Athletes World Championship and Expo 

Saddle up and watch more than 30 of the world's best rodeo athletes compete in this inaugural championship, held at the American Airlines Center. Before heading to the arena, hit up the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center for the free ERA Expo, which offers athlete appearances and autographs, shopping, live entertainment, rodeo demos, and even cowboy church (Nov. 13 at 9 a.m.). The ERA Expo is Nov. 10 from noon to 10 p.m., Nov. 11-12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Nov. 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Dallas. TV on the Radio, Gogol Bordello to headline Untapped Festival in Dallas

Expect more than 400 craft beers from about 100 breweries at this all-ages event, which is majority-owned by CrowdSource, a Dallas Morning News company. The music lineup is headlined by TV on the Radio and Gogol Bordello, and also includes Bassh and local bands. Nov. 12 from 3:30-10:30 p.m. at Fair Park, 1300 Robert B. Cullum Blvd. in Dallas. Tickets start at $39.
