Texas Frightmare Weekend guests include 'Night of the Living Dead' creator George Romero, 'Candyman' star Tony Todd

Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th, parts 7-10), George A. Romero (Night of the Living Dead) and Tony Todd (Candyman) were announced Aug. 1 as the first guests for Texas Frightmare Weekend.

VIP passes sold out in mere hours, but there's still time to grab your spot for the horror convention scheduled for April 29-May 1 at the Hyatt Regency inside the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Dallas.

And, look, organizers announced that they'll resurrect - see what I did there? - the Premium Pass since VIP sales went frighteningly (oops, I did it again) well. Day passes are $20- $38.95, and weekend passes are $50-$68.95. A weekend pass four-pack is $180. Prices will increase as convention dates near. Admission is free for ages 12 and younger.
