Take your kids to do Easter-y things: There's a helicopter egg drop at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano on Saturday and a petting zoo at the Dallas Arboretum on Sunday.
No kids? Check out Lakewood Brewing Company's new taproom. (Your kids are technically invited if you are responsible.)
You need to get outta town. Take a quick trip to Waxahachie. Scarborough Renaissance Festival starts this weekend.
You're into dogs. Me, too. Go see the Pet Parade in Deep Ellum on Sunday afternoon. Extra points if your dog will wear a costume. (Mine won't.)
