Dallas Jazz Age Sunday Social: Wear dress whites and take your parasol for an afternoon of 1920s fun at Dallas Heritage Village on Sunday. Learn some dance steps from Elaine Hewlett of the Rhythm Room, check out a display of Model A Fords from Vintage Coach (rides available for purchase), play a game of croquet, and tour the village's historic structures. Don't forget your camera.

Dallas Arts District Block Party: Stay out late Friday night for free fun at the district's three museums. The Dallas Museum of Art will celebrate the work of literary legend Jane Austen, and visitors are invited to go dressed as a favorite Austen character for the chance to win Austen-themed prizes. At the Crow Collection of Asian Art, there'll be demos of traditional Japanese swords and martial arts, as well as lectures and documentaries on the history of Japanese sake and samurai. At the Nasher Sculpture Center, catch the King Carroll Band and the film 20 Feet From Stardom.

Savor Dallas: The wine and food festival officially kicks off with the Dallas Arts District Wine Stroll on Thursday and continues through Sunday with Savor the Arboretum, the Reserve Tasting, the Grand Tasting and a Sunday brunch at Main Street Garden that benefits Cafe Momentum. There will also be seven Toast of the Town events at restaurants, including Nonna and Komali, featuring topics such as eating seasonally and appreciating sherry. Art on the Greene Art Festival: Art and music are the highlights, with the works of 80 artists from across the country and a lineup that's heavy on the tribute bands, including Def Leggend (Deff Leppard) and Texas Flood (Stevie Ray Vaughan). The fun runs Friday through Sunday at Richard Greene Linear Park in Arlington, between Rangers Ballpark and AT&T Stadium.
