6 Dallas-area restaurants where kids eat free in August

As students in Dallas-Fort Worth prepare to go back to school, restaurants are preparing free lunches for their young customers.

"We believe the best source of power for your child's brain is a good meal," says Blythe Grates, Firebird Restaurant Group Senior Marketing Director. A host of restaurants are handing out free meals to kids.

Restaurants offering freebies to D-FW kids in August 2019:

Snuffer's Restaurant & Bar, known for its burgers and cheddar fries, is offering free meals for kids from Aug. 1 through Aug. 18. Adults are required to purchase one entree and need to show a free kids' meal coupon. Snuffer's operates nine restaurants in North Texas; find one here
