Billy Can Can

The Texas saloon in Victory Park will host its Father’s Day Meat Fest featuring some of executive chef Matt Ford’s favorite cuts. Served family-style, the three-course menu will center around a sampler platter of Billy’s best meats including Texas-raised rib-eye from 44 Farms, smoked ribs from locally raised Dorper lamb, house-made sausages and house-smoked chicken. The meal includes a choice of several appetizers and a choice of two desserts. As a bonus, fathers will get a free glass of Texas beer.

The Plano dining hall will host a Father’s Day brunch event featuring an outdoor putting green, the final round of the U.S. Open screened with sound in the Box Garden, and food and drink for purchase, including build-your-own Bloody Mary and mimosa bars. Choose from 20-plus restaurant stalls for your meal, including places offering traditional brunch items like Press Waffle Co. and Whisk and Eggs.

LSA Burger Co.

This Texas-themed gourmet burger joint will host its Father’s Day on the Roof event, which will include a three-course prime rib dinner and a performance by Nashville Songwriters Hall of Famer Aaron Barker, who has written hit songs for country stars George Strait, Lonestar and Clay Walker. The restaurant’s decor celebrates the Lone Star State’s musical legends and boasts great views of Denton’s courthouse square.

Mí Día From Scratch

Celebrate Father’s Day with flights of top shelf, 100% agave tequilas and a special pairing menu of cocktails and entrees. Guests can choose from 14 tequilas to build their own flight. And chef Gabriel DeLeon’s pairing menu will include Hatch tacos with a Tahona sour, sea bass in Veracruz-style salsa with a Black Barrel margarita, and chicken flambéed in tequila served with a drink called El Jefe. The restaurant, which blends traditional Mexico City recipes with modern Santa Fe and Tex-Mex flavors, will also serve its regular menu at all locations. Prices vary.

This farm-to-table eatery at the Dallas Farmers Market will offer its full menu and specials for Dad including a bacon-and-whiskey flight ($25) and a 12-ounce, 60-day house-aged New York strip steak from 44 Farms served with crispy herb fingerling potatoes and two Vital Farms eggs with black shallot sauce ($45). The cocktail special is the Manmosa, which includes whiskey, a seasonal brew and orange juice for $10-$18.

Ocean Prime

The seafood restaurant will serve an old-school special -- steak and eggs -- and a la carte brunch items including smoked salmon on a bagel, blackened salmon salad, French toast, crab and eggs, lobster toast and braised short rib surf and turf. For drink options, check out the blood orange mimosa and the signature Bloody Mary, which includes a choice of vodka and jumbo shrimp.

Have fun with the family at this Fort Worth hangout with bowling and bocce during a Father’s Day barbecue-themed brunch. The buffet will include a grilling demonstration with summer favorites like ribs, Italian sausage, pesto chicken and corn on the cob, followed by some friendly competition at the bowling lanes or bocce courts. A waffle station, made-to-order omelets and other breakfast favorites will be offered, along with a carving station, signature flatbreads and fresh salads. And don’t miss out on the chocolate fountain for all ages and a full bar for those 21 and older.
