Easter Sunday is April 21 this year, and we’ve put together a sampling of brunches and specials for you and your family to enjoy. Whether you want to take part in a fine dining experience or prefer to bring home the barbecue, D-FW has something for you. Blue Mesa Grill

At this buffet-style brunch, guests can build their plates with items from five food stations: street tacos; breakfast offerings like omelets and Belgian waffles; salads and Southwest mac and cheese; enchiladas and adobe pie; and desserts including an ice cream sundae bar. Brunch also includes two mimosas or glasses of Champagne per guest.

Normally closed on Sundays, the French restaurant has curated a one-day-only menu from chef-owner Bruno Davaillon and pastry chef Ricchi Sanchez, both recent James Beard semifinalists. Your meal features a choice of hors d’oeuvre and entree plus a trip to the dessert bar. Hors d’oeuvres include options such as oysters, steak tartare and grilled asparagus with prosciutto, and entrees include omelets, ricotta pancakes with mascarpone and blueberry-lemon compote, grilled salmon and more. The kids’ menu has offerings like macaroni and cheese, banana chocolate chip pancakes and cordon bleu bites.

Crú Food and Wine Bar

Build your own three-course Easter brunch at Crú. The Napa-style prix fixe menu includes appetizer selections such as mini Belgian waffles and entrees including herb-roasted lamb loin with Mediterranean stuffing. Dessert choices include molten chocolate lava cake. Bonus: The restaurant serves $3 mimosas and Bellinis every Sunday, and all bottles of wine are one-third off.

Fairmont Dallas

The hotel will offer a menu of local and seasonal favorites including soft poached eggs with green pea and kale pesto; French toast custard with jam; and shrimp and grits. Each table will receive seed packets of mint, thyme or rosemary along with a small terra cotta planter to take home. The Easter Bunny will hop by for visits and photos, and customers will be able to fill boxes with items donated by local businesses for the hotel to deliver to Sharing Life, a local nonprofit that supplies donations to the North Texas Food Bank.
