Sometime in 2019, Perry's Steakhouse & Grille will close at its current address on McKinney Avenue in Dallas and move 400 feet down the road, according to Google Maps.

In essence, the Dallas steakhouse will inhabit a brand-new restaurant but seem like it's almost in the same spot.

Perry's new home will be a two-story restaurant inside Park District, a high-rise that opened last year. It's "one of the newest and largest office buildings that opened last year in central Dallas," writes our Business reporter Steve Brown.

The new steakhouse will have a bar on the first level and main dining on the second, with views of Klyde Warren Park, according to a press release.

Steak, of course, is a competitive business in Dallas. In the crook of Uptown and downtown Dallas near Perry's, steak eaters will also find: The Capital Grille, Truluck's, Nick & Sam's, Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House, Morton's The Steakhouse and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Nearby restaurants Billy Can Can, Fearing's and many others also sell a good steak.

Don't do steak? Perry's is also known for its (giant) pork chop.

Perry's is currently located at 2000 McKinney Ave., Dallas, and will remain open there for several months. The new Perry's is expected to open at 2100 Olive St., Dallas, later in 2019. Perry's also operates steakhouses in Frisco and Grapevine.
