49 restaurants and bars open on Thanksgiving Day in North Texas

Restaurants open on Thanksgiving Day in Dallas-Fort Worth

Asador, located at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel, will serve a prix fixe dinner.

B&B Butchers & Restaurant in Fort Worth will serve lunch and dinner. Diners can order the three-course menu or choose items from the regular dinner menu. Each guest will go home with a gift -- a turkey sandwich made with the butcher shop's turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce.

Bird Cafe in Fort Worth will serve Thanksgiving brunch.

Blue Mesa Grill will serve a brunch buffet featuring turkey, ham, soup, pumpkin flan and more. Only the Fort Worth restaurant will be open on Thanksgiving.

Bob's Steak and Chop at Omni Dallas Hotel will serve a breakfast buffet until 1 p.m. or a plated Thanksgiving lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Carso, located at the Hilton Dallas/Plano Granite Park Hotel in Plano, will serve a buffet brunch.

CBD Provisions in downtown Dallas is one of the only restaurants offering Thanksgiving breakfast. (Note, the restaurant will also be open for brunch and dinner.) Options will include buttermilk pancakes, a turkey plate with cornbread dressing and sage gravy, or the option to order items such as pimento cheese toast or steak frites from the regular menu.

Chef Point Bar and Restaurant in Watauga will serve an expansive lunch and dinner menu, with options like roasted duck, oxtail, chicken and waffles and more.

Circo Dallas, a new Italian restaurant, will serve a three-course prix fixe menu. Choices include oysters, Nicoise salad, roasted turkey with foie gras and more.

City Hall Bistro will serve a special menu on Thanksgiving. City Hall Bistro is located inside the Adolphus hotel in downtown Dallas.

Cool River in Irving will serve turkey at lunch and dinnertime in addition to an a la carte menu recently created by Dallas chef Kent Rathbun.

Cru A Wine Bar will serve a three-course, family-friendly lunch or dinner. The restaurant has four locations: Dallas, Plano, Allen and Fort Worth.

Del Frisco's Grille and Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House will be open. The grille will serve its regular menu during lunch and dinner at the four restaurants, in Southlake, Fort Worth, Plano and Dallas. The steakhouse will sell a Thanksgiving themed prix fixe menu at lunch and dinnertime.

Eddie V's in Dallas and Fort Worth will serve traditional Thanksgiving lunch and dinner with sliced turkey, green beans, brioche sage stuffing and more.

The Fairmont Dallas will serve brunch in the International Ballroom and dinner at the Pyramid Restaurant. Brunch will be a buffet with live music, and anyone 21 and up who wears a cowboy hat or boots gets a free glass of sparkling wine. Dinner will be a fixed menu.

Fearing's Restaurant will serve a three-course Thanksgiving menu at lunch and dinner. Vegetarian menus available.

Gorji Restaurant in Far North Dallas will serve a three-course dinner with choice of turkey, pork chop, three-cheese spinach lasagna, prime petit filet or salmon and shrimp.

High Fives, a bar and restaurant on Henderson Avenue in Dallas, opens at 6 p.m. with a full menu.

Highland Park Cafeteria is open 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is serving a turkey dinner. Live entertainment included in the price.

Holy Grail Pub in Plano will serve fried turkey or chile-rubbed lamb at a four-course lunch or early dinner. Kids welcome. Beer pairings available for adults.

Humperdinks, which has two restaurants in Dallas and one in Arlington, is opening at 10 a.m. for brunch. Mimosas are included in the brunch price.

Lark on the Park near Dallas' Klyde Warren Park will serve family-style brunch.

Main Event, the bowling alley and video game haven, is open noon to midnight, with the full menu available. Main Events are located in Plano, Frisco, Lewisville, Fort Worth and Grapevine.

Meddlesome Moth in Dallas' Design District will serve a turkey plate with a la carte brunch. The Moth is known for its great beer selection.

Mille Lire in Dallas will be open for a prosecco brunch. Options include turkey as well as parmacotto ham benedict, baked lobster pasta, and other Italian entrees.

Moxie's Grill & Bar in Plano will serve its full food and drink menu on Thanksgiving Day. Moxie's in Dallas will not be open.

Mudhen Meat and Greens at the Dallas Farmers Market will serve a healthful family-style lunch.

Perle on Maple, the new restaurant inside the Stoneleigh hotel in Uptown Dallas, will serve Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Notably, the three-course meal can include prime rib or salmon, for anyone who doesn't choose turkey.

Perry's Steakhouse and Grille, which has restaurants in Grapevine, Frisco and Dallas, will offer many of its regular dinner menu selections plus the option of a three-course Thanksgiving dinner. Kids welcome.

Picasso's Pizza and Grill, which has three restaurants in Dallas, will be open and serving its regular menu.

Princi Italia will serve an Italian-inspired Thanksgiving lunch or dinner at both of its restaurants: in Dallas and Plano.

Ranchman's Cafe in Ponder will serve all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving lunch during three seatings: 11 a.m. and 1 and 3 p.m. Optional BYOB. The food is gluten-free except for house-made rolls.

Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek will serve Thanksgiving lunch and dinner from new(ish) chef Sebastien Archambault. It will end with a pastry buffet.

Ruth's Chris Steak House will serve lunch or dinner with the option of turkey or steak. All three North Texas steakhouses, in Uptown Dallas, Far North Dallas and Fort Worth, will be open.

Scout, a bar and bowling alley inside the Statler hotel in downtown Dallas, will be open all day for Thanksgiving dishes and bar games.

Second Floor Regionally Inspired Kitchen in the Westin Galleria in Dallas will serve a buffet at which kids 5 and under eat for free.

Ser Steak + Spirits, on the 27th floor of the Hilton Anatole hotel in Dallas, will offer a Thanksgiving dinner menu. (Skyline views included!)

Shell Shack in Dallas, Arlington, Mesquite and Denton will be open at 11 a.m. on Thanksgiving and remain open until 2 a.m. The restaurant serves raw, boiled, grilled and fried seafood.

Silver Fox steakhouses in Fort Worth, Richardson and Frisco will serve a four-course Thanksgiving feast or the option of ordering some of the favorites off of the regular menu.

Sushi Marquee, a new Japanese restaurant at The Star in Frisco, will be open from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. The restaurant has a list of specialty cocktails -- an option for anyone who wants to get out of the house on Thanksgiving Day.

Texas de Brazil restaurants in Dallas, Fort Worth and Addison will open at 11 a.m. for rodozio-style (all-you-can-eat) salad and grilled meats.

III Forks' Thanksgiving feast will consist of a four-course dinner that includes choice of entree (turkey, beef tenderloin or salmon) and choice of dessert (pumpkin pie cake, roasted chestnut ice cream, bourbon chocolate pecan pie or chocolate marquis torte).

Tiny Victories, a teeny bar in Oak Cliff, opens at 6 p.m. The full menu will be available.

Truluck's in Dallas and Southlake will serve a three-course feast at lunch and dinner featuring dishes like lobster bisque, herb-roasted turkey breast and pumpkin pie.

Two Rows in Allen will serve Thanksgiving lunch.

The Whippersnapper in Dallas is opening late, at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

Vidorra in Deep Ellum will serve their regular menu from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m.

All 14 Whole Foods Markets in Dallas-Fort Worth will be open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
