Artisan doughnut bakery Glazed Donut Works has closed its original location in Dallas' Deep Ellum neighborhood.
The shop, which opened in 2013, has suspended operations for the remainder of the year due to "owner health issue," says a note posted on social media. The Glazed stand at Legacy Hall in Plano will continue to serve sugary delights, says the note, and it promises the Deep Ellum store will reopen in 2019.
Owner Darren Cameron was not immediately available to comment on the closure.
