Nearly 150 restaurants in Dallas-Fort Worth will sell lunch and dinner at a discount this August. DFW Restaurant Week -- which isn't just a single week -- is diners' opportunity to try out a restaurant for $39-$49 per person at dinnertime and $20 at lunch.
Some of the proceeds from DFW Restaurant Week go to two nonprofits: North Texas Food Bank in Dallas and Lena Pope in Fort Worth.
This year, Restaurant Week runs Aug. 13 through Sept. 3. Restaurants can choose to start early, on what's called Preview Weekend Aug. 10-12. Generally, diners will find a set menu, usually three or four courses, at participating restaurants. Some offer wine pairings.
Here's how to participate in DFW Restaurant Week:
- On July 16, check out the list of participating restaurants. See them below, or sort by location at dfwrestaurantweek.com.
- Starting July 16, make your reservations at the restaurants you want to visit. Reservations are recommended.
- In August and early September: Eat!
