On June 13 between 2 and 6 p.m., Taco Bells across the nation are handing out free Doritos Locos Tacos. Taco Bell is calling it Redemption Day after the Golden State Warriors "stole" a win in the NBA Finals from the Cleveland Cavaliers.
While the tagline is that you can "steal" a taco, stealing isn't cool. Another option: Walk in, ask politely and take home a free taco.
The deal is one free taco per person, no purchase necessary, at any Taco Bell in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. (And in case you're not sure this deal is for you, the fine print says it's offered to "every person in the fifty (50) U.S. and the District of Columbia." That is you!)
Doritos Locos Tacos are a hard-shell taco stuffed with beef, cheese, lettuce and sometimes tomatoes and sour cream. The approximate retail value of a Doritos Locos Taco is $1.69.
