Plenty of people have celebrated their birthdays with a molten chocolate cake or skillet cookie at Chili's Grill and Bar. Now it's the restaurant's turn.
This month, Chili's celebrates 43 years since opening its first location on Greenville Avenue in Dallas -- and that means drink deals for all.
On Tuesday, March 13, the restaurant's popular Presidente Margarita will be on special for $3.13.
When Chili's made it's debut in 1975, the menu featured burgers, hot dogs, tacos and Schlitz beer. Not only has the restaurant come a long way, so too has Dallas. The original location was so far removed from the city's center that one guest rode in on horseback from a farm near Greenville Avenue and Walnut Hill Lane, according to The Dallas Morning News.
My how times have changed.
Chili's now boasts 1,600 locations across the country, all of which will be serving the discounted marg on March 13. Find one near you.
CORRECTION, 3:38 p.m., March 9, 2018: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated March 13 was a Monday. It's a Tuesday, y'all.
