There's free cake, really!, at Klyde Warren Park in Dallas on Wednesday, Nov. 15

Free cake. That'll make anybody perk up.

Nothing Bundt Cakes is handing out free cake from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at Klyde Warren Park in Dallas. Anybody there will receive a bundtini, the company's name for its smaller, bite-sized cakes.

The only flavor available will be pumpkin spice. (Before you get all #basic about that, this is free cake, people. No complaining.) The company sells tons of other flavors at its 18 Nothing Bundt Cakes shops in D-FW, including red velvet, lemon, white-chocolate raspberry and others.

While you're there, say "happy birthday" to the folks handing out freebies, because Nothing Bundt Cakes is celebrating 20 years in biz. They're also celebrating National Bundt Day. Which, sure, is a thing.
