Late, late, late night pizza joint Zini's has closed in Dallas, according to a post on Facebook.

During Zini's 20 years in business, the pizza joint sold carryout and delivery pizzas in Deep Ellum, Uptown and the Lower Greenville areas of Dallas. It was known for its late hours -- as late as 4 a.m. in some areas, which was several hours later than many competitor pizza joints.

Zini's was also known for its 100 Pounder, a pizza with 100 pieces of pepperoni. It was not great for early-morning heartburn, but it was known to help a hangover for at least one Dallas journalist.

Founder Tim Frazin wrote on Facebook that the company "lost its lease" and closed on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017. Notable: "We are looking for a new location with the possibility of opening in March 2018."

The restaurant website has been disabled. We've reached out to Frazin for details.
