Write your thank-you note specifically to Houston Astros centerfielder Cameron Maybin, who stole a base in Game 2 of the World Series. Which means we all get a free taco from Taco Bell.

"At Taco Bell, we believe one great steal deserves another," the website explains. So on Wednesday, Nov. 1 from 2-6 p.m., you can "steal" a Doritos Locos Taco at any participating Taco Bell in the United States. (No literal theft required.)

In fact, no purchase is necessary. You can be That Guy who goes to Taco Bell for a freebie and doesn't buy anything else.

The deal is good for one taco per person, as long as supplies last. And you don't have to be an Astros fan to get the deal, either. But it's a good idea.

According to Taco Bell, the company has sold more than a billion Doritos Locos Tacos since 2014. They call it "one of the most iconic inventions in the history of tacos, or possibly food for that matter." We call it a hard-shell taco. Free for four hours on Nov. 1.

The flying tacos in the video below were added for effect. In case you were wondering.
