Planet Sub, a Kansas-based sandwich shop that would have celebrated its 2-year anniversary soon in Deep Ellum, has closed.
The shop was located on Commerce Street in Deep Ellum, dangerously close to longtime shop in the neighborhood Uncle Uber's Sammich Shop. A sign on the door at Planet Sub says, "Out of business, sorry =(."
The Planet Sub in Deep Ellum was Dallas' first (and only). According to Planet Sub's website, it still has shops in downtown Fort Worth and Lewisville.
