For popsicle peeps in Richardson and Plano, more icy treats are coming your way. Popsicle store Berrynaked at Inwood Village in Dallas is opening two more locations this year: a Richardson branch and a stall in Plano at Legacy West's urban food hall, Legacy Hall.
The Richardson Berrynaked opening comes first, on June 17. A party from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at will bring attendees popsicles, music, kid-friendly activities and giveaways by neighboring businesses.
Berrynaked's specialties are its organic pops, which come in flavors such as prickly pear lemonade, key lime coconut cream and blueberry cobbler ($2.99-$4.39). But the Richardson shop is launching a new line of products: fruit-based purée bowls.
The shop's "Soulful" bowls focus on superfood ingredients, including options like pitaya, acai and matcha, and are topped with nutritious additions such as hemp hearts and goji berries. If you're one whose sweet tooth isn't easily satisfied (I get it!), Berrynaked will also sell "Sinful" purée bowls, dessert-style treats with a waffle bowl and decadent toppings. Flavors include strawberry creme, cookies n'cream, hazelnut-butter banana and avocado coconut.
A third location of Berrynaked is set to open at Plano's Legacy Hall and will join other food vendors, including Press Waffle Co. and Glazed Donut Works. The opening date for Legacy West has not yet been set.
During summer months, Berrynaked pops will also be sold at Gaylord Texan's Paradise Springs water park in Grapevine.
The new Berrynaked store in Richardson is located at 326 W. Campbell Road. The coming-soon stall inside Legacy Hall will be located at 7800 Windrose Ave., Plano. The Berrynaked in Dallas -- already open -- is located at 5560 W. Lovers Lane.
