NASCAR fans, that new burrito at Texas Motor Speedway has three layers of bacon

The Burro Grande at Texas Motor Speedway is sold at the Hawg Heaven stand, naturally.

You could call Texas Motor Speedway's newest concession item a "Frito burrito," and it is. But that doesn't get to the heart-stopping point of this new wrap: It's all about the bacon.

The Burro Grande, as chef Lincoln Engstrom calls it, is Texas Motor Speedway's latest concession item at Hawg Heaven. That's the stand that sells bacon-centric race-day foods, and NASCAR fans seem to love it. The Burro Grande will be for sale at O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 weekend, April 7, 8 and 9, at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth. Find details about the races here.

The Burro Grande has three layers of bacon: first in the pork carnitas dotted with pecan-wood-smoked bacon; then in the bacon-jalapeno ranch beans; and again in the squirt of bacon-avocado crema on top. (Also stuffed inside that burrito are tomato-cilantro rice, cheese, pickled red onion and Fritos.)

If you're hog wild for bacon-related food, the Hawg Heaven stand has a gluttonous history. Since 2013, Texas Motor Speeway has unveiled a new, often surprising Hawg Heaven item at major races. The racetrack has served bacon-beer milkshakes and a bacon-doughnut ice cream sundaes. We've said it before: What will they think of next?
