Chipotle is giving away free chips and guacamole; here's how to get some

Up for a pop quiz? What if I told you correct answers were rewarded with free chips and guacamole?

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hoping you'll accept that challenge this week. The fast-casual chain is running a promo to tout its super real ingredients (that hopefully won't make you sick anymore) by asking fans to "spot the imposter" -- namely, "commonly used industrial additives -- including added flavors, colors, preservatives, gluten and gums -- masquerading as real ingredients," says a statement.

All you have to do is click over to the ingredients page of Chipotle's website and look for the one item that doesn't belong.

Hint: You get as many guesses as you need to click on imposing additive. And once you find it, all you have to do is register, and a coupon will be texted to your mobile device. The "imposter" changes each day throughout the length of the contest (April 3 through 7).

The fine print

Free chips and guac sounds awesome, no doubt. But it's worth noting that the deal is only redeemable with the purchase of a meal.

And even though Chipotle fans can come back every day to play the game, there's a limit of one coupon per phone number. Returning players will have their name entered into a sweepstakes to win burritos for a year of a dinner for 10.
