Fort Worth taco shop Salsa Limon now open in downtown Dallas

If you want to sound like you're in-the-know, call Salsa Limon what the regulars do: Salsita.

Tacoheads in Fort Worth likely know Salsa Limon. Its owners operate a whopping four Salsa Limons in Fort Worth proper, with a fifth coming in Cowtown soon. Now, it's Dallas' turn.

Salsa Limon opened a shop in downtown Dallas in mid-March 2017.

The El Capitan is the thing to get: a flour tortilla with the expected fixins of onion and cilantro plus your choice of "carnes." Some of those fillings include grilled steak, honey-pepper-mustard chicken, pastor, barbacoa, beef tongue and granjero (creamy avocado, rice and beans). Most tacos cost $3 each.

At the downtown Dallas shop, the owners plan to showcase the building's 1980s architecture, which means an art installation. With neon lights!
