Jimmy's Food Store sold a $7.5 million lottery ticket -- but not the Jimmy's you're thinking of

The store gets $10,000 retailer bonus, say our partners at NBCDFW.

You may have heard that Jimmy's Food Store was lucky enough to sell a winning lottery ticket. What you might not know is this isn't the 50-year-old Jimmy's Food Store, a beloved Italian market in East Dallas. The $7.5 million lottery ticket came from Jimmy's Food Store in Fort Worth.

Our partners at NBCDFW reported that Fort Worth man Tony Huynh won his millions off of a $50 scratch-off ticket purchased from the convenience store on Sycamore School Road in Fort Worth. The store gets $10,000 retailer bonus, NBCDFW says.

The other Jimmy's Food Store is an East Dallas landmark known for its handmade pastas and sauces, its large sandwich counter and its secret-ish wine bar in the back.

But no, food friends: Dallas' Jimmy's Food Store doesn't even sell lotto tickets.
